We are fully certified by the U.K. Civil Aviation Authority to carry out Commercial Drone operations using Drones up to 25kg in mass. Our certification includes PfCO (now operational authorisation) A2CofC and GVC. Our commercial insurance to fly drones covers us with up to £10m of public liability cover.

Drone Operations
Our background lies in Commercial Photography & Videography. Using Drones has given us an additional tool that allows us even greater creativity. We first started flying Drones in 2015 as a hobby. We very quickly realised how we could use these to create even more spectacular productions that would compliment our ground based work.
Once we decided to follow this route, we set out to gain the correct training and certification to allow us to fly in some of the most difficult spaces. With our knowledge of airspace restrictions, weather conditions and effective risk management, we can operate safely and effectively, day after day. Our fleet of drones is extensive, with certain aircraft better suited to different environments, we have all situations covered.

Using drones to carry out roof inspections for damage evaluation is safer, quicker and more cost-effective than traditional methods used to gather the same data. The same can be said for insurance claims. We can provide your insurance company with high-definition photography and 4K video of any damage that they would usually need to send an assessor out to evaluate. We can capture the data they require and have it delivered to them the same day, meaning your claim will usually be settled much more quickly.

Our drone roof inspections in Newcastle and the surrounding areas are safer, quicker and more cost-effective than traditional methods of roof inspection. We do away with the need for scaffolding or cherry pickers, which can be costly and time-consuming, and ladders which can be dangerous and not very effective in reaching out-of-the-way areas, such as flat roofs that are hidden from view. This means we can access all of the difficult areas that can’t usually be accessed without specialist equipment. We capture high-quality images that can easily highlight any areas of concern. These inspections are also excellent for insurance claims. If your insurance company requires an assessment of any damage before approving repair, we can supply them with high-definition photography and ultra-HD video. Our drone roof inspections can capture the whole roof or specific areas of interest, all depending on your requirements or of an area that may be of concern to you. We can also capture images of guttering and chimneys to check for any damage that may lead to something more serious in the future. Sometimes a sagging gutter goes unnoticed and seeing any damage from the ground is extremely difficult. These issues can lead to problems with water penetration and dampness in the future. The images we capture can be passed to a local tradesman giving you the confidence that the repairs being quoted for, were necessary.
Why Hire Elemental Photography?
When can we do a drone roof inspection and how long will it take?
We can carry out a drone roof inspection during daylight hours providing the weather is within our operating window. We will not fly in rain or strong winds, typically above 15mph would give us safety concerns. For a typical Semi-Detached house, we would be on-site for between 30 minutes and 1 hour. For larger property and commercial buildings, an inspection will understandably take longer to carry out. An estimated timescale can be discussed when making an enquiry.
